Amendment 42- MINIMUM WAGE: PASSED!!!

Colorado’s minimum wage has not been raised in the past nine years. At the current minimum wage, adults working full time make just over $10,000 annually. Keeping the current minimum wage at $5.15 an hour while the cost of living goes up puts workers and families further behind. Raising the minimum wage will help working families and is sound public policy.

Thanks to your great support, during the first week in August, our partner organizations, 9to5, Colorado Progressive Coalition and our coalition partners submitted 130,017 signatures to place a minimum wage increase initiative on the November state ballot.

Following this great accomplishment, our next step is educating and mobilizing Coloradans to get active for this November's election. From now until election day, 9to5, CPC and our coalition partners will be organizing events to energize and inspire Coloradans to make a difference this Fall, and we need YOU to make this happen!

Amendment 43-DOMESTIC PARTNERSHIP:

We believe that people of Colorado should be able to reap the benefits of lifelong commitment and responsibility.  We also believe codifying discrimination into Colorado's Constitution is wrong; we strongly reject a constitutional ban on same-sex marriage.
