If you have a talent to share or a skill you would like to develop, VOLUNTEER!  Colorado Women's Agenda is currently accepting volunteer and internship applications for membership outreach, event planning and communications.

Volunteer Opportunities at the Agenda

PROGRAMS:

Administrative- Office assistance including filing, answering phones, emails, etc.

AFDC Coalition- Represent CWA at monthly coalition meetings and report back

Columbus Day- Participate in monthly(?) committee meetings to enact legislation that will end Columbus Day as a Colorado holiday and report back 

Faith, Feminism, and Philanthropy- Attend quarterly meetings on behalf of CWA and report back and coordinate financial literacy workshops

Fundraising and Mother's Day Brunch- Participate in meetings to plan Mother's Day brunch and coordinate other fundraising activities.

GO- Participate in grassroots organizing, including canvassing, building relationships in communities and coalitions, cliff effect story collection, know your rights on the job seminar

Go Lead Trainings- Participate in coalition that puts on workshops having to do with political activism

Inclusiveness Initiative- Participate on inclusiveness committee, in data collection, creating blueprint for becoming a multiracial organization

Legislative Breakfast-Participate on coalition for the annual legislative breakfast, represent CWA at event table

Scorecard- Collect voting data on bills after session; tabulate and format scorecard

Self-sufficiency- Participate in monthly coalition meetings on behalf of CWA and report back

Volunteer Lobbying-Track legislation during session, do citizen lobbying representing CWA's position to legislators at the capitol

Woman's FAN, Cliff Effect- Participate in monthly meetings regarding cliff effect on behalf of CWA and report back

Women vote- Data collection and analysis to evaluate CWA's organizing efforts
