9to5: The National Assoc. of Working Women, Colo. Chapter

9to5, National Association of Working Women is the largest membership organization of working women in the country. Founded in 1973 by a group of Boston clerical workers, 9to5 has grown from a simple newsletter to a grassroots force of nearly 15,000 women. We inspired the movie and the song, Nine to Five, and have helped working women win many victories over the years. Colorado Chapter of NOW
The National Organization for Women is the largest organization of feminist activists in the United States. NOW has 500,000 contributing members and 550 chapters in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. Since its founding in 1966, NOW's goal has been "to take action" to bring about equality for all women. Colorado Coalition Against Domestic Violence
CCADV is dedicated to the empowerment of battered women and their children and therefore is committed to the elimination of personal and societal violence in the lives of battered women and their children.  You can contact CCADV at 303-831-9632.

Colorado NARAL
Since 1969, NARAL has led the way in promoting reproductive freedom and dignity for women and their families. NARAL is the leading political force dedicated to securing our freedom to choose and to educating Americans about the grave threats to our reproductive rights. Colorado Progressive Coalition
Colorado Progressive Coalition is a statewide, multicultural, cross-issue coalition of individuals and organizations creating the action necessary for progressive social change. Latin American Research and Service Agency (LARASA)
LARASA is a nonprofit organization created in 1964 to improve the health, education, and self-sufficiency of Colorado's Latino community. LARASA conducts research, provides technical assistance and training, serves as an information clearinghouse, and facilitates the development of plans and programs aimed at improving the quality of life of Latinos throughout the state. Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains
The mission of Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains is to improve the quality of life by enabling all people voluntarily to exercise individual choice in their own fertility and reproductive health. Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains was started in 1916. It opened its first clinic in Denver in 1926. Currently, PPRM is serving over 74,000 women and men in 32 clinics. Rocky Mt. Peace & Justice Center Prison Rights Project
Founded in 1983, the Rocky Mountain Peace and Justice Center has been a successful agent for social change for over fifteen years. SAFE Colorado
SAFE Colorado is a bipartisan organization formed to advocate the reasonable regulation of the manufacture and distribution of handguns, semi-automatic assault weapons, ammunition and related paraphernalia,while recognizing the right of Colorado citizens to own and use firearms designed for legitimate hunting, sport and defensive purposes.  You can contact SAFE at 303-563-7233 or visit them on the web at www.safecolorado.com.

The Women's Lobby of Colorado
The Women's Lobby of Colorado (WLoC) is an organization that lobbies state legislators to effect positive change for women and to elevate legislators' understanding of how the challenges facing women also affect their families and the community.
